TAJ - The Truth

A couple of years back i got a mail Forward from a friend of mine it was about the "Taj Mahal" a monument i have loved (like anybody else who has seen it - not in snaps but in real) the mail said about some Professor P.N.Oak, who believes that the whole world has been duped. In his book Taj Mahal : The True Story, Oak says the Taj Mahal is not Queen Mumtaz Mahal's tomb but an ancient Hindu temple palace of Lord Shiva ( then known as Tejo Mahalaya).

I found the content disgusting and replied to all who were in the Cc to the mail.
I wish I would have come face to face with whoever had originally penned that piece of sh*t and could have given a real hard slap on his face. Whoever has written it, has obviously never visited the Taj Mahal.
You stand before the Taj and you can just stand there for Hours. The white piece of brilliance, a symbol of Purity & Love casts a spell on you.You just can't believe someone could have built something so Pure so Magnificent. You could feel the pain Shah Jahan went thru on being separated from his beloved. Mr Oak obviously doesn't understand what love really is, what excites him is history, dates, and Opportunity( yes opportunity to bring down the most photographed monument on Earth). The Hindu fanatics have brought down the Babri, Mathura is next in line, Mr Oak suggests the Taj to be the third ( be more imaginative Mr Oak there might be some temple under the Parliament House!) unearth a few more records written by few frustrated fanatic historian like you!. We are just a few temples short of an Anarchy!. And I am told we have 1 crore hindu Gods and godesses so don't just stop when you have brought down the Taj, the Jama Masjid, The golden Temple, The Charminar , they have all stood the test of Time and Weather but not of Human Folly! . You would still have not got exhausted with your list of GODS, then create small stories just few line will serve the fanatics, just the name of the God, a few date here n there and voila! you have a monument DOWN!.
Great going Mr Oak, you do us proud, We (Hindus ) butchered Shikhs when Mrs. Gandhi fell, burnt the Muslims recently(Godhra.... it happened around me), I still have not forgotten the anger of a Sikh teacher as he narrated the incidents of '84 or for that matter the cry of my Muslim friend during the Godhra riots.

I remember a hindi poetry I read in school ( I forgot the poet, it certainly was'nt Mr Oak!) it goes like this "Kadam kadam per Mandir Mazjid kadam kadam per Gurdwarey , Bhagwaano ke Basti me hai Zulm bahut insaano per".

Great Job Mr Oak ( aspire for the Nobel ! go for it ).
